When we break light apart, we find 7 colours + 7 chakras.  Malachite represents the 4th centre - the heart chakra + is represented by the green ray.  

Malachite asks that you deliver your fears to the divine + teaches that true love springs from trust + our ability to release.   Malachite asks you to take a deep breath + cast your concerns aside.  Malachite is stone for dissolving ‘smother love’; a condition that arises from a childhood dictated to by a fearful + anxious parent + one that exhibited a love so over-protective, that it inhibited the necessary psychological development to ‘step out’ into the world.  If you’ve carried this into adulthood, Malachite is a stone for you.  It is also a stone for the apprehensive mother.  Fearful parenting is often passed through generations + can be a precursor to ancestral trauma.  Malachite reminds us that our children’s journey is their journey + their journey alone.  It bestows the gift of gentle + loving guidance.  From a short distance, it watches lovingly, prepared to provide a safety net, but only if necessary.

Your children are not your children, they are the sons + daughters of life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you + though they are with you yet they belong not to you
